I can’t help it!! This little hug stitch has me smitten! My husband asked me for a knit hat during our Christmas Break. It has been pretty cold in Las Vegas this year! Or maybe the reality is we just aren’t used to cold weather anymore. When I started knitting, these hugs just started working their way into the design. I decided to write it out for all of you to have a quick and really pretty hat pattern for this cold winter.
My husband just read the story for this pattern, and he said “don’t use the word pretty! It’s cool! Manly! GQ!” I had to share that Mr. Lolo comment for all of you!
In case you haven’t knit my Abrazo Shawl pattern, let me share the story behind the name. When I started knitting the wrap stitch, it looked to me like a little hug, so I named the pattern abrazo which means hug in Spanish.
