Inspired by my favorite book series, The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, I named this shawl after the region where the main characters are from. A beautiful countryside where the quiet village of the Two Rivers sits. Most people are farmers or shepherds. The heart of the village has a beautiful inn and town center where they would gather for feast days or when the occasional peddler or gleeman would come into the town spreading tales and news. The people are strong, stubborn, honest, and loyal perhaps to a fault. It seems so peaceful and idyllic that it had to be the name of this beautiful shawl.
