Hippos for Holidays

Hippos for Holidays started in 2017 as a continuation of my very popular Christmas colorway "Hippo for Christmas" which has been around for years.

It was inspired by my sister's love of the song "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas," which she played over and over again on her little portable tape player. And it was played whether it was Christmas or not! So in December of 2016 we got sad that we wouldn't see our beloved hippo for a whole year again, thus Hippos for Holidays were born! Why not have a "hippo" for every holiday?!

Each hippo colorway is released about 1 month before the actual holiday and we stop dyeing it once the holiday passes.
