I can’t help it!! This little hug stitch has me smitten! My husband asked me for a knitted hat.  When I started knitting, these hugs just started working their way into the design. I decided to write it out for all of you to have a quick and really pretty hat pattern for that someone special.

My husband just read the story for this pattern, and he said “don’t use the word pretty! It’s cool! Manly! GQ!” I had to share that Mr. Lolo comment for all of you! 

In case you haven’t knit my Abrazo Shawl pattern, let me share the story behind the name. When I started knitting the wrap stitch, it looked to me like a little hug, so I named the pattern abrazo which means hug in Spanish.
