Knit a sock, as far as you can get, in a weekend (48 hours). Friday at sunset to Sunday at sunset! 

 

Fall of 2022, I challenged myself to knit a whole sock in 2 day (48 hours). Did I finish? Nope! But dang that felt good!! I actually finished way more than I thought I would!!! 🙌 So, the weekend sock challenge was born! And each month more people are surprising themselves with how much they've knit!

Starts Friday at sunset (local time) through Sunday at sunset (local time). I’m not going to check to the minute, this isn’t to make us crazy, just a fun little sock drawer challenge. 🥰

Now, go pick out that perfect single skein you’ve been saving just for this occasion! Cake it up and get your needles ready!!

RULES:

1. Any yarn

Of course, I would LOVE for you to use one of your lolo skeins!!! But, really - the point of this is to join in and have fun. 🥰

2. Any pattern

I highly recommend my 2 go-to basic sock patterns:

Weekend Sock Challenge Pattern (fingering weight)

4 Hour Sock Pattern (DK weight)'

3. Cast on and get as far as you can within the time frame. This isn't about finishing, it's about having fun with the community and challenging yourself!

4. In your comments of your post write something like “Joining @_lolodidit in her #lolodiditweekendsockchallenge !!!” 

5. EACH POST COUNTS as one entry for the prize at the end! Up to 5 posts, we don’t want to be annoying, but I’d love to see your progress and cheer you on! At least 1 regular post in your feed, the rest can be stories or however you want to do it. (If you don’t use @_lolodidit and #lolodiditweekendsockchallenge in your post or story, it will not count as an entry).
